Braitenberg vehicle : A Braitenberg vehicle is an agent that can autonomously move around. It has primitive sensors (measuring some stimulus at a point) and wheels (each driven by its own motor) that function as actuators or effectors. A sensor, on its simpler form, is directly connected to an effector, so that a sensed signal immediately produces a movement of the wheel. Depending on how sensors and wheels are connected, the vehicle exhibits different behaviors (which can be goal-oriented). JALEdit + JAL Source Codes Download and step by step installation

jaledit   JAL is free high level pic programing language. It is so easy to understand. I will explain how you gonna install this compiler.

  • First dowload JAL.rar which is below the page.
  • Open JALEdit.exe in JALWin Folder ( JAL\JALWin\JALEdit.exe).
  • Open compile options as in the picture 1
  • Specify lib directory of JAL as in the picture 2 ( Remember you should specify lib folder which is in the SourceCodes folder.)
  • Specify jal.exe location as in the picture3
  • Now you can compile your codes perfectly, if you do what exactly i explained, your codes will be converted to HEX codes. Devamını gör…

What is JAL ( Jast Another Language ) ?

Jal is a high-level language for a number of Microchip (TM) PIC microcontrollers (16c84, 16f84, 12c508, 12c509, 16F877) and Ubicom SX (SX18 and SX28) microcontrollers. It was created by Wouter van Ooijen. He created Jal because he did not like any of the low-cost (or free) languages for these chips and implementing a high level language looked like a nice project. Implementing an existing HLL seemed more difficult and less fun than creating his own, so he just started writing the compiler and the language evolved on with it. Sorry for all C-lovers, but Jal is more like Pascal. For a quick impression of Jal you could read either the summary or the examples section of the on-line manual.
